What information does Telnote display?
Telnote alternates the calling name and number (name first), when both are sent, at a 4 second rate as long as the phone continues to ring. In cases where the phone company only sends the number, it is displayed continuously. If neither the name nor the number are sent, either an “UNAVAILABLE” or an “ANONYMOUS” message is then displayed, depending upon whether the information for the call is simply lacking within the telephone network or is intentionally blocked by the caller. When not displaying Caller ID information, Telnote indicates the current time.
How big is Telnote?
Telnote measures 3-1/4" high by 9" wide. The display window is 1" high by 8-1/4" wide.
What types of Caller ID services are Telnote compatible with?
Telnote is for use with standard incoming Caller ID as implemented in the United States and Canada (displays name and number when the phone rings). It does not display Call Waiting Caller ID.

How do I install my new Telnote?
Plug the AC adapter into the Telnote and the power outlet. Then connect your phone line to one of the jacks on the back of the Telnote. If you only have one phone jack available, no problem! You can connect your telephone or answering machine to the second jack on the back of the Telnote.
Does Telnote have to be connected to my telephone?
Telnote can be connected to any working phone jack in your home or office, and does not have to be connected directly at the telephone. This means you can have your Telnote in a different room than the phone, so you can see who is calling without having to get up and race for the call.
How many calls will Telnote store?
Telnote stores a maximum of 25 calls. When the memory gets full, the oldest call will be automatically discarded to make room for the most recently received call. You can review your calls, selectively erase calls or erase the entire memory at once, all at your discretion.
Is the stored information lost if the power fails?
All stored call information is saved and the clock continues to keep time during power outages.
How is the Telnote clock set?
The clock function is automatically set by the Caller ID signal from the phone company. The first call received after a Daylight Savings time change resets the clock automatically.
